Model of Care

We focus on the physical and mental changes of aging adults and the specific needs that accompany this change. Our individualized treatment plans offer aging adults a way to improve their overall mental health and well-being by allowing them to overcome or manage more effectively issues such as depression, anxiety, and alcoholism. Each patient is under the care of a psychiatrist who directs a treatment team of registered nurses, social workers, activity therapists, psychologists, occupational therapists, and mental health workers, all trained to identify the special emotional, behavioral, and physical health needs of seniors.

Our program features the following components:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Thorough assessment and diagnosis
  • Medication management
  • Education of patient, family, and caregivers
  • Therapeutic recreation and wellness activities
  • Nursing care
  • Individual, group, and family therapies
