Aging adults and their loved ones often experience unique concerns, including safety, physical decline, loss of independence, medication reactions, cognitive decline, and multiple personal losses. These issues require special attention and are often contributing factors to acute depression and other serious mental health issues.
Our specialized treatment program for seniors is designed to diagnose and treat the complex mental health and substance abuse issues faced by aging adults. We are a state-of-the-art mental health facility with a nurturing and results-driven approach. We focus on helping seniors maintain their quality of life by stabilizing their mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing.
Our individualized treatment plans offer aging adults a way to improve their overall mental health and wellbeing by allowing them to overcome, or manage more effectively such issues as depression, anxiety, and alcoholism. Each patient is under the care of a psychiatrist and/or nurse practitioner who directs a treatment team of registered nurses, social workers, activity therapists, psychologists, occupational therapists, and mental health workers. The treatment team is trained to identify the special emotional, behavioral, and physical health needs of seniors.
